The role of Angels

There is a fascination with Angels today. Some people think that they are like wishing wells, here to answer our superficial desires. The book has sections that talk about the role of Angels living on Earth. It describes how to identify an Angel if you meet one. Angels have the role of teaching humanity about how to be closer to God.

Reconciler Gospel of Thomas

About 50 years ago there was discovery made in the Egyptian Desert. One of the items in the jar was a text by one of the Apostles that was not included in the New Testament. It was called the Gospel of Thomas. It was dated by scholars as around the late first century and the early second century after Christ was born. It was interpreted into many languages including English. Unfortunately these sat in dusty old cabinets until recently.
The references I have read about the meaning of the verses in the Gospel of Thomas seemed to consider them not understandable. They were supposedly from Gnostic beliefs, just because they were found in the same jar as some of the obviously Gnostic texts.
When I read the text in two different translations I understood the verses on the first reading. Apparently the scholars were too analytical and preconceived in their reading. If they read it with the literal eyes of a three year old they would have understood.

Evil and fighting it

Every person makes choices everyday that fight or aid Evil. It is easy to say that the world is "Going to Hell", but what are you doing to reverse that?
